Abandoned...

Oh lord! thy created me
Man created my being
Thy gifted me with eyes...
Alas! man sniffed at me
To gift tiny droplets.
Not the tears of joy to double...
Tears of sad which never dwindled!
What a pity!

I live in this rage cage..
over my mystic cradle..
and quest for my identity ..
I ponder and wonder who& why?
No one could answer my who& why?
People muse&amuse at me...
they sympathize at me...
Ah,fails to empathize with me!

Often i breathe in hunger
Often favorers shed wonders...
I lead a fluky life...
For no fault of mine.
People drop & dribble
Hollow hopes&promises
But none holds and lifts me
With promise of love & laurel

A darling baby in thy heart...
An Orphan I'm in social eyes...
The Nameless Faceless "I"
Pine for an eternal pride
Sad and Bitter to hear....
An insipid truth for sure!

hehehheheee...Scrawler, maaf kar do, lekin control nahi hotha:)

its PJ time!!!

/What a pity! My drops grew daily./ eyedrops ko turanth band kar do even if man has gifted it to u:)

/I live in this cage with a rage../ first u thought u r a casuarina tree, now u feel u r a bird:):)

/Often i go to bed with hunger/ food not tasting good a? order kar lo yaar..takeaways r perfect on such days..dont feel so low!!!

on a serious note, u kinda captured the on-going feeling in every man/woman...probably HIS way to show us that this world too cannot fulfill our incessant need for love - unconditional and absolute!!

Scrawler, when I read this, I got waves of tingles. That's the third time in three days with your poetry. Keep that comfortable love with The Divine in your heart, because it flows out of your poetry and into the hearts of others. You are a clear gem, and that light shines through the facets.

PJ..I know whose influence it is :-)

Food ..these days recipe is from a place 'Eat to live but in moderation blog" :P

btw vin...This post is about an Orphan's feelings....But i think u read it from a different angle :-)

How true the quote is "A book has only one voice, but it does not instruct everyone alike'

orphan ah!!! see, thats y i usually restrain from commenting, but beautiful thoughts as usual :)

isnt our society also into the 'orphanisation' culture? nobody really cares for us, not even the people whom we elect!

btw, Sen's culinary blog is meant as a reference guide for 'experts' in global cuisine and its better that we stay away!!!

Rajeswari said...

Hope our dear sen would skip the comment section :P

Where is the PJ master who commented in ur poem?

Karmanna, sorry to have offended u if thats what u meant in '....'

Scrawler, i would never dare to make PJ's on ur poems had it not been for our gang S4 + V1 if u remember...pls explain it to Karmanna :)

n i dont have a clue abt PJ master and my cartoon model!!

also, do let me know if my comments hurt u in any way, since u didnt clarify to Karmanna.. i promise i will stop at once in that case!

Rajeswari said...

ha ha...vins dear...i took it lightly...
if everyone keeps on posting serious notes...all the fun will be lost..

i didn't reply to karmanna..coz i didnt take his comment seriously!

regarding orphanization i wud like to tell u one thing..
Our blogging world is an exception to the orphanization isn't it?:-)

Moreover how can we forget our S4V1?which is gonna create wonders in world of words?;-)

u brought memories! ive once visited an orphanage with some friends. ive seen kids playing. there was a smile on each lips, but i also saw hollow eyes nd insecurity in them :( well expressed scrawler.

Prasanth Moothedath said...

there are people who empathasize.. only that u dont see it... or may be.. they never express it.. for your sight...

...also one shud never be disillusioned with the hopes and promises..

..this by far might be one of the most passive that u have written...

Rajeswari said...

@PM...please don't delete your comments!

I hope you are the same SM who posted this comment yesterdaythis one is really great.. i mean. i shud really say taht u have improved on the structure wiht each poem of urs... !!! u r really goign great guns!

i am the seventh to comment... :( but i can surely say.. i was the first to read it...!!!!

How come within 24 hrs u changed ur opinion? If u had posted this comment y'day..i wud have gracefully accepted/revered your comment. Now that u have changed..it shows how hypocrite our people are including near and dear ones..Double standards...speaking in two different voices....

Regarding hopes and promises..people deliver so many(including you)isn't it?How many of us try to keep up the hopes and promises?where there is a will, there is a way...i can give thousands of examples!

Prasanth...the truth is everyone are selfish, everyone lives with masks...mere visitng of orphanage,or donating cannot be called as empathy!what an individual need is honor!
your two different voices clearly says...how transparent are u in expressing.

and i wonder how u cud comment on hopes and promises..

regarding that 'passive' comment...i think...i have been passive since few months :-)

Durga !!! u r absolutely correct ..
i agree with u and standby u..
people must stop commenting for the sake of attention or whatever reason;)

@Vins...u were right on orphanization culture....yes,we don't have time for others...i know a couple of cases..where people didn't even bother to attend the funeral of near and dear ones!thats how our society is moving..and such people make a huge noise over care,affection....and all blah blah...

vinny said...

Scrawler, one jadu ki jappi for u:):)
....i happened to meet a college friend at a recent shraddha function, asked him why he was so aloof during college days...he said he left his gang since nobody came for his dad's funeral...he started working during college hours just to avoid them n earn some money for his house...

what all one goes thru but cant tell...me n my gang always thought he had some psychological problem...i did help him in his studies as he didnt attend lectures...but what he wanted was some 'care n concern' from his friends....it is true there is orphanisation...we become indifferent towards our friends too when it comes to giving a part of ourselves...but it makes 'all the difference' for that person...specially in case of death of a close one

vinny said...

thanks a ton for the fish gadget...am playing with mine:) they r so cute :)

Scattered Thoughts... said...

my my!! so much have happened in my absence.. chotu motu fights, offences and sorry games :))

and wow.. this shows that you guys think of me and my PJs, even if I am not here.. :)) BTW, vin – You too, Brutus! (he he, there couldn’t be better place to use your proprietary dialogue)

On serious note, I think people most of the times misinterpret comments feature.. one is not supposed to comment just for the sake of commenting, it should be only when you really feel like that. There are times when you read a post and don’t feel like commenting or can’t really think of something, coz we don’t have any opinion on it. Its not necessary to have opinion on every post and at that time we should not comment, instead of posting some dumb remark.. but most of us don’t understand it.. :)) I guess some times even me fall in the same category :)) but I am trying to improve ;)

Okay, enough of gyan, now about the poem, I have heard that a poem reflects true state of your mind or how you was feeling at that time but I have seen most of your poems are not very pleasant or jovial (at least which ever I have read so far) so what does that mean? I can be totally wrong but thought better ask to the expert herself ;)

Anonymous said...

@S thoughts ,
i differ on ur your S-note.
i feel it always gives a better feel to a writer when u write something about the creation .. ..

and about pleasantness of the poem .. i will wait for dear poetess to comment first :).

Scattered Thoughts... said...

karmanna - I agree.. but there are times when you are speechless.. times when you dont have any opinion about the creation.. neither good, nor bad.. what about those times.. or in worst case, some bad opinion or different perspective which writer might not like.. what should one do at that time.

@ s thoughts,

i get almost fifty clicks a day on my blog, but not a single comment :((

@ST... why shud u think whether the writer/blogger like your comments or not?The space is exclusive for the writer..but at the same time, this comment section are exclusive for the readers and visitors.what i need is honest opinion on the post..not any kind of falttery..Don't bother whtehr the writer will acce[t ur comments or not..coz this space belongs to You!
i don't like double standard..or speaking in two different voice...thats what i meant in one of my previous reply :-)

oh my!! so you are in god's own country these days.. how about a trip to Rajasthan :) but remember you will have to go to well together in the morning to get water ;)

as for the comments, you misunderstood me.. what I meant was that some times it so happens that after reading a post you are unable to form an opinion about it.. so at that time, its not necessary to post a comment just for the sake of commenting.. we can just stay still and njoy the read.. no ?

Rajeswari said...

ST sirrrrrrr.......i never misunderstood u!Yes! very much u can enjoyyy the read...thats what u did in Vins blog...'present Ma'am :-)
