A soul sown in the soil
what for?
laugh&play?
For weep&wail?
Barely to be alive?
To love a life?
To live a life
Spread the light?
Can a mortal say adieu
without leaving a mark,
when thy has sent being for a role?

mmm....one can understand the pain underlying...! but what as u say.. what can mere mortals do????
..and i think u r goign back on to the theme....
! back from hibernation...?
:) or :( donno!
absence from those we love is self from self; a deadly banishment
- Shakespeare
@PM...as usual..you never get what i try to convey!
hope u read the phrase..'without leaving a mark'
@PM...you take an entirely different meaning!
anyways....A Book has One Voice,But it does not instruct EVERYONE alike!
@S1, i feel PM just thought beyond the poem.....the next level...
to go without leaving a mark would be nearly impossible..even a 1/1000 things that we do bad (intentionally or otherwise )makes a deep impact on the part affected!!
HE alone knows if we are fulfilling our purpose, if and only if we have one!!
deep one again, Scrawler !
so, how was ur break?
scrawler - short and meaningful.. I read it atleast thrice and loved it more every time.. I think a mortal has been sent for a role but they have to do some efforts, prove some worth, for leaving a mark..
and I totally agree with your comment - "A Book has One Voice,But it does not instruct EVERYONE alike!"
so very true! like your poem on relationship.. what thoughts you had when you wrote it and how the meaning changed after the certain incidents
and BTW, how was the break ?
A soul sown in the soil
To feel the warmth around,
To feel the music of life,
To live and let live,
To survive and multiply the breed,
To learn, to educate,
To THINK, to UNDERSTAND,
To realize his or her role and to mark the difference thou life demands.
but who makes us realize our mission?
who is the teacher?
whom should we learn from?
do we have a choice?
or are we forced on our missions?
