Caught up in a storm..
Yet unmoved by the disaster..
Dome turn to a deponent
Survived the famine and flood,
Overcame the hurricane!
Cooling showers wiped…
the dust & dirt.
Skies smiled in the
Company of Rainbows
And then came the sunny days!
Not a soul could demolish
The pillar
With an unwithered base
So are the human relations…
Together they weathered the storm..
And preserved the union.

god knows how u put feelings that close to words!!
great piece, there
@sen&vin..i posted this poem around 8.45 pm.After half an hour...i was shocked to hear about the terror attack..For a moment,i thot of pulling off the post..
scrawler - I know you wrote it for relationships but somehow when reading it, that never came to my mind.. I was just relating the lines with the current situations..
"And then came the sunny days!" there will be sunny days indeed and we will overcome every thing which is happening in surroundings.. and yes "Not a soul can demolish
The pillar"
Vin - I agree yaar.. scrawler is really the chosen one.. she really creates magic with words..
sen - what happened gurl? another storm :)
@ Scattered thoughts...I was referring to the storm in Mumbai...and how we were standing united in the face of the attack...
sen - yeah.. couldn't agree more..
scrawler, i was too busy last week and too shaken for the past four days cos of what happened :-( its like your mind predicted the situation and chose to write this.. amazing words..
"Together they weathered the storm..
And preserved the union."
