To my Sculptuors

No matter where, how and with whom I live,
You will be remembered in every breath of my life,
You may cease to exist,
But ye imprint persists.
For you have craved me..
And you both are my sculptors..

Parents are the true sculptors of children. If a child astray from its path, the society blames the parents for wrong upbringing. But if a child succeeds, we glorify the child and forgets the sculptors.Strange!

Just a heartfelt wish..

The tourney decade over,
The briny year no more..
Oh!Make up the yore..
To awake n score

I prize the gold,
leaving the odd,
But I retrieve the old
To behold the untold.

With goal on hold.
Without being cold..
But being bold,
I behold- remold my world.

To My Cradle......The Perpetual Truth..

Would you listen to your daughter’
Who sings from far away, yet who swings close to you?
Whose cradle still sways there at your place…
Whose roots and blood remains at your space?

Would thyself give the same warmth as before?
Fondling with love..
Embracing with winter breeze&western ghats…
Splashing streams in face…
Soothing eyes with paddy sprawls..
Making merry with carnivals and shrines?

I flew away with knot …
Still thy lived within mine …
I clasped thine all through…Mother Mine…
Thy memories fresh beneath my nest..
Can I loose them from my treasure chest?
A cremains I’m in thy absence!

When the waves bang me…
When the pain pierce my heart..
Where would I confide Dear mother mine?
Nowhere to go when I turn roofless..
Nowhere a lap to lean or nap..
A warp I’m without you..

When I knock you and bawl…
Embrace me with thy kindness…
I raveled through diverse mist
Yet I traveled through my roots…
I wish to retrace to my berth
As thy daughter forever…

No thought can detach me..
From my cradle….
Stem where I blossomed…
Source of my blood and identity..
The place I belong to…
And the perpetual truth of my life….

(Here Mother denotes hometown,roots....
Root is the place we belong to.And it is the base of our existence and identity.
When a daughter is born in a family, everyone choirs:'God has bestowed with Lakshmi'.But when the same daughter gets married, the Lakshmi turns into 'parAya'. Strange isn't it?Legally,a married daughter belongs to her husband's place. But By heart she belongs to her cradle. No thoughts or theory can deny this perpetual truth.)

Window in Eternity..........

Unruffled window stood in eternity...
Songs of sparkling stars,glittering sun
Moon beam were heard from the window...
It coughed drooping leaves&twilit...
It showed Blooming buds and fragrance...
Alas!I never woke up.

I clutched my hands to the grills...
Oftimes...briny drops kissed the grills..
I leaned..and counted stars....
I sensed the world...
Oh! i never sensed the window...

Pall camouflaged ...
I dribbled through the pane...
ofttimes i shut & battered...
Yet It embraced my heartless thoughts..

I 'grew' and agnised...
Evermore undiminishing light remains
AS Beacon forever in my life...

Indeed,Dad is the window of my life...
the roots of my thoughts&seed of my wisdom..

Dad-My guide to the world around!

Endurer...

Poems glorify her graceness,
Epics spells her power,
History spoke her strength,
Pictures reveal her beauty,
Couldn't reveal her mystery.

A bread winner at times,
The chord of every nest,
A Banyan for her folks,
A lullaby for her clan,
A synonym of endurance...

Woman.
